St Dennis Ukes

We began with 3 people in 2021 during lockdown.   2 years later and we are 25 happy souls practising every Monday evening 6.45pm to 9.30pm at ClayTAWC (the local community hub) The Old School, Fore St, St Dennis.

We play many different types of gigs from the local Women’s Institute to the Royal Cornwall Showground Flower Tent and recently collaborating with various choirs.  

We would describe ourselves as sort of pop ukulele, not what you would usually expect a ukulele band to be like, as we have a bass player and a drummer to complete our sound. 

As well as an opportunity to experience some fantastic Cornish music, this event will be supporting the charitable work of Wheal Martyn Trust (Charity no. 1001838), with money raised from ticket sales contributing to our fundraising.

To balance our fundraising needs with the reality of the current cost of living challenge our customers face, we have made this a pay what you can event. All tickets are equal, simply pick the price you wish to pay (between £6 and £15). Age 12 and under free.
